Everybody's doing it....

It might cliche' but I didn't have a lot to do today so I decide to make a blog. This way I can follow other friends and family a little easier. I am not sure how often I will be able to update once school starts again (tomorrow) but maybe on my breaks this will give me something to do. Yesterday I got to chat with my sister-in-law Rachel and she gave me the wonderful idea of making a white board out of an old frame. It was so much fun! Here is what it looked like:
I was pretty excited. It looks much better in our kitchen than my old white board from living in the dorms. You can even change the paper whenever you want!

This summer has flown by and I know that the next 3 years of school will do the same. The one thing that God is really teaching me during this time is to truly enjoy and make the most of where I am now. I am constantly thinking about what will happen after I graduate (for the last time) from PT school but not doing a whole lot of thinking of how I can best serve Him in the place I am now. There are tons of opportunities to serve and love on others. I just need to let the Father open my eyes.

Anyways, Bradley and I are now in a new stage of life in the real world (him more than me) and are attempting to adjust. We are both learning so much not just about jobs and school but I am also learning about cooking! I never realized how much work my mother did till now....I mean I knew but I dont' think I really understood. And just think, she did this with 5 kids! Yikes! I don't even have 1 kid! It really isn't that bad and I enjoy it....for now. ;)

  1. First comment. Ever! That's how awesome (ie. lame) I am! Glad your frame turned out so nicely! Can't wait to raid your stash. :)

Praying for you guys as you adjust! Takes a while - but once you get the groove it's a fun way to live! I mean adult life. :P
